Do I need a Stripe account first?
Yes — a Stripe account is the one thing you bring. It's how bookings get paid and how payouts land in your bank. Creating a Stripe account takes about 15 minutes; we can walk you through it if you haven't done it before.
What URL will my booking site live on?
Every venue gets a free branded subdomain on gtlane.com — for example yourname.gtlane.com. We handle hosting, SSL certificates, and renewals automatically. Pick the subdomain you want during signup; we'll suggest alternatives if it's taken.
How does Stripe payout work — do you ever touch the money?
Never. Bookings are charged directly to your Stripe account. Your customers' money flows from their card into your Stripe balance and payouts go to your bank on your Stripe schedule. We don't sit between you and your revenue.
How long until I'm live?
Most setups go live in 2–5 business days. We handle subdomain configuration, Stripe connection, branding, and initial data import. You get a staging URL to review before we flip your subdomain live.
What if I want to move off later?
You own your data. We'll export everything — bookings, members, transactions — in standard formats. No lock-in, no exit fees. That said, most operators stay because we handle the parts they don't want to handle.
