Dashboard

The Dashboard is the home screen of the GTLane admin area. It gives front-desk staff and managers an at-a-glance view of the venue: which rigs are booked, how much revenue the day or month has made, how busy each rig is, and the most recent reservations. You can also open any booking, reschedule it, or create a new one straight from here.

Open Dashboard in the admin sidebar (under Operations, layout-dashboard icon).

A toggle in the page header switches between two views; the choice and the selected date are kept in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a specific day.

Revenue, booking counts, and utilization only ever count confirmed bookings — cancelled ones are ignored.

  • Rig calendar grid — a month grid with one row per rig, so you can see occupancy across the whole month.
  • Stats row — Month revenue (with the change vs. the previous month), Month bookings, average utilization, and upcoming bookings in the month.
  • Revenue chart — a bar per day of the month.
  • Utilization cards — one card per rig showing booked hours vs. open hours, utilization %, revenue, and booking count.

If the month has no bookings yet, the stats and charts are replaced by an empty-state card.

  • Rig day timeline — a per-rig timeline for the selected day. Click an existing booking to open its detail sheet; click an empty slot to start a new booking (see below).
  • Stats row — Today’s revenue, bookings, active-now count, upcoming count, and average utilization.
  • Hourly revenue chart — revenue by hour across the venue’s operating hours.

Below both views, a Recent bookings table lists the 20 most recently created reservations (newest first) with customer, date/time, rig, status, and total. Click any row to open its detail.

In Day view, click an empty slot on a rig’s timeline to open the create dialog. You choose a customer, fine-tune the start time (±15 min), and pick a duration. Under Payment information you can pick a package to see the computed peak/off-peak price, then either:

  • Comp — create the booking immediately with no charge, or
  • Payment link — generate a Stripe checkout link you can copy or open to send the customer.

Clicking a booking (on the timeline or in the recent table) opens the booking detail sheet, where you can review the reservation, reschedule a future booking, or cancel it. See Bookings for the full detail-sheet reference.
