Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are prepaid, fixed-value codes a customer can redeem against a booking. This screen lists every voucher your venue has issued — whether bought online or issued by hand — and lets you create new ones and void active ones.

Open Gift Vouchers in the admin sidebar (under Loyalty, gift icon).

The table shows one row per voucher with these columns:

ColumnMeaning
CodeThe redemption code.
PurchaserThe customer account that bought it (blank for hand-issued vouchers with no purchaser).
RecipientThe name and email the voucher was issued to.
ValueThe voucher amount.
StatusActive, redeemed, expired, or voided.
CreatedWhen the voucher was issued.
Redeemed atWhen it was used, or a dash if unused.

Click any row to open the detail panel. The row actions let you void an active voucher (the X button) or open its details (the chevron).

StatusMeaning
ActiveIssued and available to redeem.
RedeemedAlready used against a booking.
ExpiredPast its expiry date.
VoidedManually cancelled by an admin.

The filter bar at the top narrows the list by code, purchaser (customer search), status, redeemed (yes/no), and a created date range (from / to). A Clear button appears once any filter is set.

Click Issue voucher to open the panel and fill in:

FieldRequiredNotes
AmountYesThe voucher value; must be greater than zero.

Recipient nameYesWho the voucher is for.
Recipient emailYesWhere the voucher is delivered.

Opening a voucher shows its full record: id, code, amount, status, recipient name and email, message, expiry, redeemed time, and created/updated timestamps.

If the voucher is still active, a Void button appears in the panel footer (and as the X action in the list). Voiding asks for confirmation and cannot be undone — a voided voucher can no longer be redeemed.
