Driving Analytics

Every lap, every car,
every track — logged.

Log sessions against your cars and tracks catalog with photos, lap data, and notes. Members get a history they care about; you get analytics that show who is engaged and who is drifting away.

No signup required for the demo. Setup takes 2-5 business days.

The problem

A session log members
actually want.

Most facilities forget driving data the moment a session ends. The lap times go in a notebook, the photo lives on someone's phone, and there's no record of who drove what or how they progressed.

Members notice. They want to see their personal bests, the cars they've tried, the tracks they've conquered. Without that, the experience is anonymous — and anonymous experiences don't get re-booked.

GTLane bakes a session log into the platform. The catalog is yours; the data is the member's. Engagement signals roll up to the operator dashboard so you can spot who's about to drift before they actually do.

What spreadsheets can't do

  • Show a member their personal best per car and track
  • Attach photos to a session in one tap
  • Surface lapsed members before they actually leave
  • Link session activity to membership tier and loyalty points
  • Roll up car and track popularity for content decisions
How it works

From a session ending
to a logged history.

01

Build your cars and tracks catalog

Add the cars and tracks your venue offers, with photos and short descriptions. The catalog drives every session log from then on.

02

Log a session against the catalog

Staff or members tag a session with a car, a track, lap times, and any notes. Photos attach in one tap. The data lands on the member profile instantly.

03

Members see history; you see engagement

Members get a personal driving log they care about. You get aggregate analytics — who is engaged, who is drifting, what content drives traffic.

What's included

Everything the session log
does for you.

Cars and tracks catalog

A central library of every car and track your facility supports. Photos, specs, and notes attached. Sessions log against the catalog so the data stays clean.

Lap data and notes

Record lap times, weather, setup, and free-form notes per session. Members see how they progressed; coaches get a record they can review between sessions.

Session photos

Attach a phone snap or telemetry screenshot to any session. The whole gallery is browsable per member, per car, and per track.

Member driving history

Every member gets a personal history page — total sessions, favourite tracks, personal bests. Use it as a retention hook and a coaching tool.

Engagement signals for staff

See who is most active, who has gone quiet, and which cars and tracks pull traffic. Bring lapsed members back with a targeted offer instead of a blast email.

Per-car and per-track popularity

Roll-ups show which corners of your catalog are doing the work. Use the data to schedule new content drops, retire dead weight, and pitch sponsors.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need special telemetry hardware to use this?
No. Sessions can be logged manually by staff or members using lap times, notes, and photos — that already covers most facilities. If you have telemetry from your simulator platform, you can paste or upload data and attach it to a session, but it isn't required.
Can members log their own sessions?
Yes. Members can self-log sessions from their portal — pick the car, track, time, attach a photo, add a note. Staff can review and edit if needed. The activity drives the member's own history page and rolls into your engagement analytics.
How does this help with retention?
Two ways. First, the personal history gives members a reason to come back — they're chasing personal bests on cars and tracks they've already tried. Second, the engagement view tells you which members have gone quiet, so you can win them back with a targeted offer or invite before they fully churn.
Is the data tied to membership tiers?
Yes. Sessions, history, and engagement signals are all aware of which tier the member is on. You can offer per-tier perks like exclusive cars, member-only tracks, or coaching add-ons that show up only for the right plan.
Can I export the data?
Yes. Every session, member history, and aggregate roll-up is exportable as CSV. The same data is available through the public REST API if you want to pipe it into your own BI tool or member newsletter automation.
Is this included on every plan?
The core session log is included from the Starter plan up. Member-facing history and engagement analytics are part of Professional and above. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
